The Pua Farmers Market, in Pua of course, is an early morning market. It is where the people from the mountains sell their vegetables and herbs and that starts at 5:00 o'clock in the morning. Most of the market is food like vegetable, meat, herbs, eggs but also ready made food. A bit later in the morning some other shops will open selling things like cloths and shoes. And around the market are many small shop-houses selling whatever you might ever need ranging from fishing gear to bicycles.
In the evening there is in front of this market a kind of Food Court where you can buy & eat food. This starts at about 17:00. And there are tables & chairs to enjoy your food. Following are some more photos, click on the photo to enlarge. If you like to experience the slow life & culture of Pua in Nan province, then come and stay a few days at Non Na Pua Homestay (only 3 km from this market).
