Delicious food, great weather, tropical islands with stunning beaches, the Thai smile, lush green jungles, a perfect travel hub, cosmopolitan & international atmosfeer, traveling for every budget from cheap backpacker to stylish luxury. As you see Thailand has something to offer for everyone. And that makes Thailand a popular destination. But despite its popularity Thailand still has its charm and it is still easy to travel beyond the highlights of Thailand. And yet even within the popular destinations you will still find tranquil hotels, stunning empty beaches, genuine Thai hospitality and the famous Thai smile.

Thailand stretches 2.100 km from Mae Sai in North Thailand to Betong in South Thailand and 780 km from Mae Sot in West Thailand to Mukdahan in Northeast Thailand and Thailand counts 77 province with in total 100s of major cities. And each for its own beauty are worth to visit. But 90% of the people will go to only a few places like Bangkok, Kanchanaburi, Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Koh Chang, Koh Samui, Koh Tao, Phuket, Khao Lak and Krabi.

That leaves the rest of beautiful Thailand to that other 10% of the people. Head to Northeast Thailand (also called the isaan) to find ancient Khmer ruins or simple farmer life at the endless rice fields. Follow the mountains of North Thailand to the slow life in Nan and Phayao. Or move south to find hidden beaches, bays and islands. Thailand has something to offer for everyone, might it be a family holiday, honeymoon or adventure trekking. And Thailand is a great base to travel to nearby countries like Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and Malaysia.

That leave about 80% procent of Thailand for the people who want to travel beyond the highlights of Thailand to places like Nan, Phrae, Phayao, Loei, Sangkhlaburi, Songkhla or Bueng Kan. Or islands like Koh Kuud and Koh Samet.

And for people with special interest's there are many great places to visit in Thailand
