To/From Malaysia : In the south Thailand borders with Malaysia and there are a few international border crossings. Most used is the Thai-Malaysian border crossing Padang Besar, where also the international train from Bangkok to Singapore is crossing the border. You can cross the border here by bus, car, train or motorbike. Other border crossings are Sadao, Betong and Sungai Kolok.
To/From Cambodia : Along the Thai-Cambodian border are many borders crossing, not all borders are international borders and some are sometimes closed. The most used are :
- Hat Lek / Klong Yai
- Ban Pakkad / Pailin
- Ban Laem
- Aranyaphrathet / Poipet
To/From Laos : Along the Thai-Lao border are many border crossings, but not all borders are international borders and some are sometimes closed. The most used are :
- Nong Khai / Vientiane
- Mukdahan / Savanakhet
- Nakhon Phanom / Thakhek
- Bueng Kan / (ferry)
- Chiang Khong / Huai Xai
By Air
Thailand can be reached by air by a few international airport.

- Don Muang Airport
- Satthahip Airport
- Phuket Airport
- Koh Samui Airport
- Chiang Mai Airport
