If you like to visit a real jungle market come to Thung Chang in Nan province, North Thailand. Every Saturday there is a special jungle where hill-tribe people from the mountains of Doi Phu Kha sell food from the mountains. Like the photo above are eggs from red ants, in Thai called Kai Mot Deang. First photo below are honeycombs. Last photo below looks like tomatoes but they are not. They taste sour, very sour. Always a surprise on a Thai Jungle Market.
