This combination of Farmer School, Homestay and Coffee Shop opened its doors in 2010 and has slowly became what it is now ... a wonderful place in between the rice fields of Sila Phet with the mountains of Doi Phu Kha in the background. The place is managed by a lovely local couple and build in simple local farmer style with 2 small bungalows and 3 big bungalows, all with private verandah of course. A great way to experience the local northern way of farmer life in an almost authentic way. Be aware that this place is located in the middle of nowhere so there is no public transport going to it straight. You will have to take the songtheauw to Sila Phet and walk the last 500m.
The Farmer School Coffee Shop is off course part of Farmer School Homestay. Serving cold & hot drinks while enjoying the view over the rice fields and nearby mountains. With friendly service and a great view a fantastic place to just sit and relax. Perfect place to go before or after visiting Sila Phet waterfall, what is only 3 km away.
