Khun Nan National Park was established in 2009 and it is at the north-east side of Nan province, along the Thai-Lao border. The highest point of the park is Doi Phi Pan Nam with 1.745 above sea-level and can be reached by hiking. At the back side of the park is the beautiful Saphan Waterfall (Namtok Saphan) what makes a lovely short hiking to visit. There are more waterfalls in the area like Huai Ha, Ban Den and Huai Ti. At the HQ are some bungalows and camping grounds. Nearest town is Bo Klua. Khun Nan National Park is about 90 km north from Nan town and about 10 km north of Bo Klua. By private car or motorbike follow route 101 to Pua and the route 1256 to Bo Klua. From Bo Klua follow route 1081 to the park entrance. The entrance road to the park is very steep (but good road).

How to get Khun Nan National Park?
By public transport from Nan town take the Orange bus to Pua and then a Songteauw to Bo Klua. From Bo Klua arrange transport of Khun National Park (about 10km).By private car or motorbike follow route 101 to Pua and the route 1256 to Bo Klua. From Bo Klua follow route 1081 to the park entrance. The entrance road to the park is very steep (but good road).
