Travel Tips about Tham Pha Tub Forest Park in Nan province

Tham means "cave" and the main attraction of Tham Pha Tub Forest Park are the many caves in a  scenery of lime-stone mountains. A great place to make a short hiking and to visit multiple smaller & bigger caves. There is even one with a temple in it and one with the name Beer but no beer to be found. Behind the mountain is a small lake, what would be a nice place for a picnic. Tham Pha Tub Forest Park is about 10 km north of Nan town and about 200m from route 101. Warning about Tham Pha Tub Forest Park

Be aware that the trail is poorly equipped with signs how to walk. And that the trail at some places is not more as climbing rocks. Also be aware that the trail can be slippery in the early morning due to fog. Especially in the raining season. A good hiker can do this trail in 1 hour, but it took me about 2 hours.
