Traveling Beyond the Highlights at Home Stay Hill Top in Nan province

A Mien hill-tribe village in Nan province, North Thailand

Two days of exploring the remote mountains of Nan province, bordering Phayao province. From Nan city you travel via a scenic local route to a Mien hill-tribe village in the mountains. From there you take a 4WD truck for the last 10 km to the homestay almost on the ridge of the mountains. The homestay is at 1600m high between the coffee plantations. Very early in the morning you will start hiking to the hill-top for a stunning sunrise view and simple breakfast with fresh made coffee. But during rain or bad weather the road to the hill-top might not be safe to drive. Accommodation & bathroom at the homestay are very basic. Your food for lunch / dinner / breakfast is local Thai food. You can take only limited luggage to hill-top homestay.
