Taking the ferry at Ban Pak Nai

Ferry at Pak Nai in Nan province, North Thailand

I was visiting the Queen Sirikit Lake on the border of Nan province and Uttaradit province. The lake is created by a dam in the Nan River. At Pak Nai you van take a ferry to Nam Pat. The ferry takes cars, bicycles, motorbikes and small trucks. Following are a few more photos of using the ferry. With waiting, loading, crossing, getting off at the other side it will take all together about 1 hour. That is IF they ferry is going at all, because they are too lazy to go for 1 person.
