Check! Staying at Riverside House Hotel in Chiang Mai

I made a motorbike trip to Chiang Mai and did stay 1 night at Riverside House Hotel in Chiang Mai, right along the Ping River near the famous Iron Bridge. Actually just because I was riding there out of town and saw the hotel price outside the hotel, only 699 baht (without breakfast). The hotel has private parking for cars & motorbikes and there is even a swimming pool! I like the location near the Iron Bridge, nearby are some restaurants, pubs and Rimping Market. 

Riverside House Hotel has 2 buildings, first a front (street) building from where the front rooms have view over the Ping River. The backside rooms of this building have view over the garden and swimming pool. Then behind the garden is a second building where again the front rooms have view over the garden and swimming pool. The photos are not mine, but from their website and they do represent the reality of the hotel. The bedroom looks like the room I had in the front building but facing the garden & swimming pool. Of course the room has Air-Conditioning, TV, fridge, free water, Wifi, private bathroom with shower. And all rooms have private balcony. Room was clean and taken care well, the bed was comfortable. Must say that only the bathroom was a bit old fashioned. Photos are not mine but borrowed from their website and they represent reality.

Update 2023 : I did stay again in this hotel and I must say the staff is friendly as always and the rooms are cheap but the superior rooms all the way in the back are really outdated and old. Yes they are clean and they have everything you need. But everything is old. And the so called garden is nice if you like a jungle with mosquitos. The front side rooms are Deluxe Plus, but might be a bit noisy.
