In 1990 we did escape the cold winters of Europe and did stay at the Fair House Resort at Chaweng Noi beach at Koh Samui in the days when it still had only 5 wooden beach cabins and an old English guy cleaning the beach every day at 6 in the morning. It was paradise but as you know "If you see paradis, kiss it goodbye". We have been there many years later and indeed paradise was gone. And going back now you would not even recognise the place.
