In Nov'2014 we stayed at this lovely kind of guesthouse called Huanpak Jumjai Homestay. It is located about 50 meters from the lake side of Kwan Phayao. A small well taken care of guesthouse, the rooms are spacious and clean. Although the bathroom was very small but then again the shower was very good. There is free wifi and they have free bicycles to explore Phayao lake side. Be aware that some rooms do actually not have a window.
