As inspiration for traveling in Laos, follow me getting lost in Vientiane. In December 2015 I was staying a few days in Vientiane and as I have seen all the highlights of Vientiane already 10 times I just tried to get lost in Vientiane. So I just left my hotel and started to walk without any plans or direction. Well getting lost in Vientiane is a bit difficult as down-town Vientiane is not so big and you will always end-up somewhere along the Mekong River. But I tried and succeed a bit! Getting lost will bring you to the local way of live, normally hidden for tourists. Following are more photos of my little walking tour in Vientiane, Laos.
