Along the roads in Thailand you will see many small markets. Like "Talad Hat Pla Heang", a small market along route 101 in Nan province, North Thailand. This market is nearby Ban Pla Heang what is right along the Nan River. And this village is famous for its dried fish from the Nan River. So of course at the market they are selling dried fish but also people from nearby mountain villages are selling jungle food like herbs, vegetable and bamboo. What they are selling depends on the season and the weather. It is not really a market to special go to, but if you are passing and you like markets then it makes a nice stop. Of course if it is bad weather or the people in the nearby villages have other things to do then as you guessed the market is closed.
