In 2017 I took the bus from Pattaya to Bangkok. Pattaya has a few bus-stations, the most used by tourists is the "Roong Reuang Coach" bus-terminal at Pattaya Nua Road. It is basically the bus-station from just 1 bus company, just like the other few bus-stations in Pattaya. Yes, indeed Pattaya is one of the few cities in Thailand that does not have a public bus-station. So where are the busses going to? Well have a look at the following photos, but here is a short list of the bussen between Pattaya and :
- Ekmai Bus-Station (Bangkok Eastern Bus-terminal)
- Mochit Bus-Station (Bangkok Northern Bus-terminal)
- Southern Bus-Station (Bangkok)
- Suvarnabhumi Airport
- Hua Hin Bus Station
- This bus-station is also a stop for the yellow-bus between Rayong and Mukdahan.
As you see there is no bus going to Don Muang Airport. You could take the bus to Suvarnabhumi Airport and the the shuttle-bus to Don Muang Airport. Or you could go to Ekmai or Mochit bus-station and then take a taxi to Don Muang Airport.
