Eating the local way in North Thailand? Take a bite of the famous Northern Sausages! But be aware that some can be very spicy. Photo above shows the Northern Sausages being sold at the famous Kad Wiang Market along the highway between Lampang and Chiang Mai. In the old days this market was really a local market where hill-tribe people from the mountains would sell & buy their food. And they eat everything from special vegetable & herbs to rat, rabbit, deer and any animal in the forrest of the mountains. Those days are long gone and nowadays this market is mostly for tourists. But still a nice market to make a stop.
