Getting lost in Kampot, Cambodia

Riverside Kampot, Cambodia

As inspiration for traveling in Cambodia, follow me getting lost in seaside Kampot. In 2018 I was traveling in Cambodia and did stay a few days in Kampot. It is a small provincial town at a river delta along the coast of Cambodia. Famous for its Pepper, its laid-back way of life and the colonial French architecture. I traveled from Phnom Penh to Kampot by taxi. It is about 130 km and it took a bit more as 2 hours. I first thought we were driving with 65 km/hr but then realised it are miles not km's. As said it is a small town with a laid-back way of living. So it is easy to walk around and explore the little town as I did. Of course you could also take a TukTuk or BicycleTaxi. Following are some photos I made during my walking tour in town.
