In 2018 I was at Koh Samui in South Thailand and thought of the good old days in 1991. Like at the photo above at Chaweng road but that is not how looks in 2018! Chaweng road did transform to a road filled with hotels, shops, restaurants, massage saloons and scooter rental shops. There even is an huge Central Shopping Mall! There are so much buildings that you do not see anything of the beach anymore. Following are some photos I made while I was walking there in disbelieve. What happend to paradise?
