In 2018 I was for 2 days in Bangkok and that is enough for me, I want to be back again between the green rice fields and mountains of North Thailand. So I took the BTS to Mo Chit and the A1 bus to Don Muang Airport. I arrived a bit too early so I had some time to walk around at Don Muang Airport. First of all I am always happy to see the Phu Nan Coffee, where they are selling coffee made from beans from Nan province. Not that I drink coffee. Then just after the security check there is a shop selling doughnuts. And the weird thing is that I always see people in the airplane with boxes of this shop. So I had a look and to my surprise there is always a cue of people waiting to buy overpriced doughnuts. I even tried it once and OK they taste good, but cueing up 10 min and carrying them home in the airplane? No way! So after some relaxed walking I went to the gate to take the 1 hour flight home sweet home. If you like some help with organizing your holiday in Bangkok or anywhere in Thailand send me an email at Little Elephant Traveling in Thailand.
