While traveling 3 weeks in Vietnam I did visit the Vietnamese Women’s Museum in Hanoi. The museum is located near the famous Hoan Kiem Lake. The museum is dedicated to the Vietnamese women, without whom the Communist Revolution of Vietnam would have never succeed. The stated mission of the museum is "to enhance public knowledge and understanding of history and cultural heritage of Vietnamese women... thus contributing to promoting gender equality".
