In 2020 I did stay at City Bay Palace Hotel, located in Halong city but at a bit awkward location, being a bit out of the center. But with stunning view over the karsten mountains in Halong Bay. It is a brand new modern hotel with a bit small but comfortable rooms. City Bay Palace Hotel serves a good breakfast buffet and the restaurant also serves lunch & dinner (except with the TET festival).
