Visiting the Wat Phra That Nong Jep

Traveling in Thailand

My wife had heard about a auspicious temple called Wat Phra That Nong Jep, so we did visit this temple located on a small hill near a small village in Tha Wang Pha district in Nan province, North Thailand. The main reason to visit the temple was to make tamboon. And we were blessed by the local monk who accidentally comes from the Isaan and speaks Khmer, just like my wife. This monk has a good reputation for advice about your future. So many people are visiting this little temple. On request (very practical) my wife and friends offered food that they bought at the local market. Monks here in North Thailand are not so strict and a lot of talking was done, also with jokes. And while my wife was listing to the monks I took some photos of this little temple.
