Check! Staying at Sleeping Tree Hotel in Fang

Sleeping Tree Hotel in Fang, North Thailand

I was traveling in North Thailand and made a overnight stop in Fang. I had never been there but Fang is a bit weird place as it has much more hotels, restaurants, pubs, shops, etc. as you would think for small town Fang. I have been told that this is due to people from neighbouring Myanmar. I did choose to stay at Sleeping Tree Hotel, what is a bit weird name as it is of course not a tree but an building in the middle of Fang town. Actually behind the hospital. But I was very pleasantly surprised. The Sleeping Tree Hotels offers standard rooms and a deluxe room of 36 sqm. We did choose the latter as they had a wonderful promotion. And wow the rooms feel & look like you are in a 4 star hotel in Bangkok. Of course the room have TV, fridge, air-conditioning, private bathroom with shower (and separated bathtub) and they offer all amenities you would need. The hotel also offers breakfast.

They hotel is more or less private parking, although it is along the public road. Near the hotel are a few restaurants and there is a 7-11 nearby. All together a perfect place to stay and highly recommended when you are staying in Fang town. Photo's are not mine but reflect reality (although they are a few years old).
