In December 2022 I made a tour of duty in North Thailand and we made a stop-over at Phayao town along Kwan Phayao (lake of Phayao). One of my favourites places to watch a beautiful sunset while walking along the promenade along the lake. And we were not the only people, Kwan Phayao is a favourite place for Thai to enjoy the weekend and the locals love to walk along the lake in the afternoon. Or sit along the lake with the family while eating & drinking. A lovely way of typically Thai way of life.
