In 2012 we were in Shanghai, China visiting friends. We made a day tour and I did choose to find the Smiling Buddha at the Lingyin Temple. And as you see it, we did find it at the Lingyin Temple. This is one of my favourited images. The smiling Buddha is actually not Buddha but a Chinese monk Budai.
