When traveling in Northeast Thailand we did drive thru Phu Hin Rong Khla National Park and late in the afternoon we made a walk at the "flag pole" area, that was once the home of the Communist Party of Thailand. This is where they raised the flag to show the Thai army they were in controle. We made a short walk of about 2 to 3 km but you can make a little bit longer walk of about 5 km. It is all flat but at some point not really easy walking. At the "end" is a cliff with a very weird moon-like stone formation. Following are some photo I made, click on the photos to enlarge.
