I was in Bangkok and stayed at The Double Tree Hotel by Hilton, located in Soi 26 of Sukhumvit road in Bangkok. Just about just 200 meter from Sukhumvit road. Within easy walking distance to BTS (Skytrain) station Phrom Phong and Emporium Shopping Mall. Behind the hotel is their mother hotel Hilton at Soi 24. The hotel has private parking, swimming pool, fitness and a very good (but not cheap) restaurant. There is a direct connection between this hotel and the Hilton Hotel behind, so you can also use one of their restaurants also. The staff is super friendly and service minded, the room was very comfortable (although not spacious). Our room at the 16th floor had no bath tub, so only shower. Breakfast buffet was really very good, I enjoyed it very much. Good selection, good quality. All together one of the reasons why I love it to stay in a hotel managed by a hotel-professional!
