Doi Inthanon is the highest mountain of Thailand, with a top of 2565m high. The mountain range is located about 90 km south-west of Chiang Mai city. Due to its height it is always cool and fresh / green. The mountain range is also home to Karen hill-tribes and nowadays coffee plantations that produce a fine arabica coffee. Of course there are many waterfalls and wonderful hiking trails. If you are interested to visit Chiang Mai or any other place in Northeast or North Thailand, please contact me by email at The Little Elephant Traveling in Thailand.
