A early morning bicycle ride between the beautifully green rice fields of Pua in Nan province. Most plots of rice fields are now filled with water and after that filled with small young rice. So for the next few months North Thailand will look beautifully green and fresh. While bicycling I also pass an old place for cremations, it is already not used anymore for many years. And it was totally overgrown by jungle, but recently the local village people have cleaned up the place a bit. It looks a bit spooky. After bicycling I had a early lunch at the only restaurant in town that is serving western food, Little La Cuisine Restaurant. A delicious plate of grilled salmon, baked potatoes, spinach with cheese and a bit of salad. And that all for just 209 Thai baht!
