Traveling from Kanchanaburi to Chiang Mai we traveled via Ayuthaya, the former capital city of Siam as Thailand was named before 1932. In and around the nowadays modern city of Ayuthaya are many centuries old temples. Taking a Tuk Tuk is the perfect way to explore the ancient city of Ayutthaya. And in Ayuthaya you still see the famous old TukTuk's, a Daihatsu Midget from the sixties of the last century. So we did and in the evening we took the night train to Chiang Mai.
