While I was in Chiang Rai in North Thailand I had lunch with a friend who is living in Chiang Rai. And as he is very knowledgeable about temples, Buddhism and art we did visit 2 less visited temples in Chiang Rai town. First the Wat Ming Muang and later the Wat Phra Kaew that houses also a beautiful museum in a teak wooden building. Both temples are in Chiang Rai town, near the Golden Clock Tower round-about. The photo above and the following first 4 photos under are from the Wat Ming Muang. The photos following after are from the Wat Phra Kaew. If you are interested to visit Chiang Rai or any other place in Northeast or North Thailand, please contact me by email at The Little Elephant Traveling in Thailand.
