An elephant at the Wat Phuket in Pua

View from Wat Phuket in Pua, North Thailand

Above a view most people do not see when visiting the Wat Phuket in Pua, Nan province, North Thailand. And actually many people are visiting this temple but most people, like me until now, use the main entrance instead of the stairs from the rice fields down. And along the stairs is a statue of a man on a horse and a man on an elephant. But it makes you imagine how living here must have been about 100 years ago when there were no roads yet. For more information about Nan province have a look at Destination Travel Guide Nan. If you like to experience the slow life & culture of Pua in Nan province, then come and stay a few days at Non Na Pua Boutique Homestay.
