I did stay 1 night in Mae Salong at Baan See See Mountain View Hotel, what is a partly new hotel right in the middle of Mae Salong. And as the name suggest you have a stunning view. Especially if you have a top-floor new room with private balcony. I love the location, in town near by restaurants, shops and the 7-11. The new rooms are modern, well taken care and clean. But not really comfortable. Like the bathroom is small. The staff is typically Chinese friendly and they serve a very simple breakfast.
The all hotel is non smoking and the rooms are not cheap at 800 - 1.500 Thai baht (excl. breakfast)
All rooms have Air-condition, Fan, TV, Private bathroom with shower only, Free drinking water , Hot water cooker and Fridge. The hotel offers free private parking (but along the road) and Tours. The staff speaks Thai, Chinese and English. Baan See See Mountain View Hotel was build in 2010 and renovated in 2015, but does not offer and real restaurant or swimming pool.
