We took the long way home from Chanthaburi, made a stop near Pattaya and I thought "Lets go to the beach!". Not really Pattaya or Naklua beach but Hat Krating Lai, a few km north of Naklua where a friend of mine used to be living and where simple Thai life still goes on, although it is not that quiet anymore as it was 20 years ago. Actually it was very difficult to recognize the exact location where he was living right along the sea. Following a few more photos of beach life north of Pattaya.
