What better as an early morning motorbike ride into the mountains of Doi Phu Kha to watch sunrise at Doi Phu Kha Viewpoint 1715? It is only about 25 km from our house. Behind the viewpoint begins a 5 km walking trail but it is in bad condition. On the way back I stopped at Lan Du Dao Viewpoint for breakfast and a cup of hot choco, served by a lovely Hmong lady.
How to get there?
Viewpoint 1714 is along route 1256 between Pua and Bo Klua.
