I was making a motorbike trip in North Thailand and did stay 1 night at Suan Glang Na Homestay So I was looking for a hotel on the east side of Phrae town, close to the mountains. I did find a few places but they were old, then I did remember this place from friends who did stay there. So I dropped in and stayed for a night. Suan Glang Na Homestay is the home of an American guy living at the same place, located between the rice fields. I think there are 4 rooms, each room has private bathroom, air-conditioning. But no TV or fridge as there is a kind of living room where is a fridge with drinks and a TV. So really like stay in a home. They also serve nice Thai & Western food like steaks and spaghetti. A great place and from my room I had a great view over the mountains. That all said there is one thing I did not like ..... they insisted on a full rack-rate and as I was tired I was not in the mood to discuss this or book it via Agoda. Yes, despite they would loose commission it would have been still cheaper for me. And I think for what I needed and for what I did get the price I paid was too high. But that of course is all up to you when you book at Suan Glang Na Homestay. This hotel has private parking but not covered.
