A early evening at Jodd Market in Bangkok

Jodd Market at Rama 9 Road in Bangkok, Thailand

In October 2022 I was in Bangkok and in the evening I did visit Jodd Market (also called Jodd Fair) along Rama 9 Road and within walking distance from MRT station Param 9. That is at the famous Fortune Shopping Mall. Jodd Market is a combination of small shops selling cloths and many small restaurants serving all kind of Thai & Western food.

Jodd Market starts opening at 16:00 / 17:00 and at about 18:00 / 19:00 really all shops and restaurants are open. As it closes at midnight Jodd Market is also a place to enjoy the evening with a drink & snack as there is a kind square with pub-style restaurants around it. As the location is a bit off the mark for tourists most people coming here are Thai and some local expats. A great place to visit if you like to see & experience the way young & modern Thai spend their evening. That all said for Thai standards it is not a cheap place to eat & drink.
