In October 2022 I was in Bangkok and when I am Bangkok I love to eat Western food. And as I was staying at Asoke intersection I did choose Pala Pizza Romana & Bistrot located at the entrance of the MRT station Sukhumvit. It is not an ordinary pizzeria but a straight forward not cosy place where you go to eat good Italian food. It is one of my favourite's in that area. Sincerely highly recommended if you like Italian food.
The pizza is sold by the meter, in slices of 1/16 of a meter. Perfect for me as I am a small eater and sometimes I like to eat a few different things. This time I ordered only one slice but sometimes I order 2 different slices. I had a delicious Rucola Burrata e Crudo with tomato sauce, Burrata cheese, Parma ham and Rocket. Not cheap at 155 baht per slice. I did drink a white by the glass, what was OK if you are used to affordable wine in Thailand. And as dessert I had a very good Creme Brule. My favourite dessert!
All together a perfect dinner for me! And for Bangkok standards not too expensive at about 420 baht. Great & fast service of professional staff with a smile. And now on their website I see that I could have breakfast here also! I will be back! Actually I came back the next day for lunch. Photo above is not mine but stolen from their website. And yes that is about how my pizza did look (but less tomato).
