Train Stations in Thailand, next station Ban Leam

Train Stations in Thailand, next station Ban Leam

I did take the train from Bangkok to Mae Klong and the second part of this train ride did start at Ban Leam train station in Tha Chalom. I love traveling by train, especially in Thailand where it is like traveling in time. It is like an open-air museum. Not only the trains itself but also the train stations. They look like they have not changed since they build the first railroad lines in Thailand in 1889. Ban Leam train station, is the terminus station of the line between Ban Leam and Mae Klong. This line is not connected to any other railroad lines. Click on the label Train Market to see all postings about going to the famous train market.

Ban Leam train station has only 1 line and it is a very small terminus station but there is a nice small office & counter to buy tickets. And there are 2 small restaurants where you can buy something to drink or eat. And there is a nice mural as a kind of Street Art. Following are a few photo, click on the photo to enlarge.

This travelogue follows my traveling in Thailand (and beyond) with in between information that might help you when traveling in Thailand.
