As Magic Mountain Cafe is only 84km from Non Na Pua Boutique Homestay I left very early in the morning and took route 1148 from Tha Wang Pha to Phu Lankha. And although I have been many times on route 1148 it was a big WOW! What a stunning route, what a great vistas with clouds and fog. Magic Mountain Cafe is on the ridge of a mountain, while overlooking a valley with a small lake. It is a popular place and you can have here a small breakfast, coffee, tea and of course a hot choco. Photo above was taken at my "secret" viewpoint along route 1148. I love to sit and relax and watch the mountains, who stood there already long before even my grand-father's time. They heard & seen everything and they will still be standing there when we all are gone. Photo below was taken at a short-cut between route 101 and route 1148.
