While riding motorbike in Northern Thailand I did stay a night in Mae Salong, my favourite mountain village in Northern Thailand. I have stayed many times here and this time I did choose to stay at AMA Mae Salong. Conveniently located in town and offering limited private parking for cars & motorbikes. AMA Mae Salong offers modern and comfortable room with private balcony. And if you have a a room on the second floor (recommended) then you also have a rooftop balcony from where you have a stunning view over the mountains. And with a sunrise view! The room is well decorated but I was missing a few things. It was cool season but maybe a fridge would be nice in the room? And while offering an electric kettle there was no tea or coffee. But what I loved that although the bathroom was small it was very well designed so you could take a shower without making the all bathroom wet. AMA Mae Salong serves breakfast but I was gone before serving time.

Bottom line : Good place and location, comfortable & clean rooms and friendly staff. Would stay here again next time.
