While riding motorbike in Northern Thailand I did stay a night in Phayao and while riding along the lake (Kwan Phayao) I was surprised not see any coffee shops. So I had a look on Google Maps and did find out that there is actually a wonderful small coffee shop right along the lake. And actually it seems to be there already for many, many year. And next to it is a restaurant of the same owners. So if you are in the mood for a relax drink or some food, go to The Lake Cafe & Restaurant. Highly recommended!
